Eric Hou Physiotherapist

Eric is a dedicated physiotherapist who completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at Monash University. He has gained valuable experience across a range of clinical settings, including public hospitals, Chinese medicine clinics, and private physiotherapy practices. His main interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports injuries. Growing up in a Chinese medicine family, Eric was introduced early to techniques such as acupuncture and cupping. This background developed his strong interest in combining Eastern and Western approaches to healthcare. Following graduation, he undertook further training in dry needling and is currently completing a Master of Acupuncture. He is also a member of the Australian Society of Acupuncture Physiotherapists (ASAP). Eric integrates modern physiotherapy techniques with needling, cupping, hands-on therapy, and exercise-based rehabilitation to provide well-rounded and effective treatment. He takes a warm, compassionate, and patient-centred approach, working closely with each individual to create personalised treatment plans that support their recovery and long-term health goals. Outside of the clinic, Eric enjoys staying active through swimming, badminton, and table tennis. He also enjoys reading, travelling, listening to music, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
